“Rob ‘KEEZY’ Keogh has been at Wantage Road since he joined Northants CCC at the age of just 13 years – first as a junior on the Pathways and Emerging Player Programme, then progressing at 15 to the Junior Academy, as a batter/wicket keeper, before developing his off-spin skills.
He made his professional List A debut aged 18 in 2010, his Professional T20 debut in 2011 and his First-Class debut in 2012. A genuine allrounder, he is classed as a front-line spinner and batter.
Rob’s 14-year professional career will be celebrated during a fun-packed programme of glittering events and occasions, planned throughout 2024, and staged by the Testimonial Committee, led by Patron Earl Spencer.
There will be something for everyone – as well as the chance to support charities close to Rob’s heart – the Ruth Strauss Foundation and the Professional Cricketers’ Trust.
Commenting on the announcement, Earl Spencer said: “Rob … here’s to a successful year; you fully deserve it. There’s not a more popular player in our dressing room, and I’m sure all of us who value your special contribution to the Club wish you all the very best for 2024.”
Your support for Rob’s Testimonial Year would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to get involved please contact the committee on: info.rk2024@gmail.com
